SINGA SHIP is a licensed manning company engaged to supply Filipino Seafarers for cruise and commercial vessels. It is the division of the Singa Group of Companies which has diverse business interests in Asia with key offices in Singapore and the Philippines.

Established in 1987, Singa Ship provides hotel staff and technical crew to premium cruise lines such as Cunard, Seabourn, SeaDream, The World and Windstar.

SINGA SHIP utilizes a recruitment system to meet specific recruitment requirements of its prestigious and selected clientele. The system ensures that both efficiency and cost-effectiveness are achieved in the selection of its seafarers. Singa Ship maintains a manpower pool and an impressive databank of qualified candidates who have undergone a series of rigid evaluation processes.

SINGA SHIP has a stable organization and is fully staffed to effectively carry out the company’s service objectives and business goals. The organization consists of a professional management team supported by highly qualified line and staff employees, all experienced in the entire process of manpower recruitment and deployment.

SINGA SHIP strictly follows a Quality Management System (QMS) and has ISO : 9001-2015 certification. The company is also MLC 2006 certified.

SINGA SHIP is a member of Filipino Association for Mariner’s Employment Inc. (FAME) since Dec. 1, 1987. After 30 years of providing personnel to our principals, Singa Ship has been recognized by the Philippine Government for its significant contribution to the promotion and development of employment opportunities for Filipino seafarers. Singa Ship has been elevated to the Hall of Fame for continuously winning the Award of Excellence conferred by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

Safety & Environment Policy

SINGA SHIP MANAGEMENT PHILS., INC. has identified safety and the environment as the two key areas in its sphere of operations that are of paramount importance and need to be effectively controlled to prevent unnecessary injuries, loss of life, damage to health, property and degradation of the environment.

THE COMPANY RECOGNIZES that an effective safety and environmental protection program makes for a more profitable operation and thereby ensures the welfare of all involved in the business.

SAFETY IS THE CONCERN OF ALL AND RECOGNIZES NO RANK. However to be effective it has to be managed well. To this end the management is committed to making all personnel more safety conscious and encourage all to become actively involved in identifying possible hazards, implementing corrective action and constantly monitoring all facets of their working environment to ensure safety conditions prevail.

AN ACCIDENT IS INDICATIVE of a failure in the operating system and the Company is fully committed to investigating all accidents. The results of such investigations and any necessary corrective action will be brought to the attention of all concerned so that everyone will learn from the incident.

LEARNING IS A NEVER ENDING JOURNEY on the road to excellence and effective training is fundamental to the Company’s business and its safety culture. As our standards improve, new goals and targets will be set to which personnel shall strive to attain.
